A smidge handmade typography

Hey, It's been a while, Ive been working on  the comic, simple as, there haven't really been any developments and breakthrough's in that sense, it a pretty repetitive process when you get in to the flow really, just working on the production line. Regardless, the comic itself is almost finished and I want to get the cover and reverse sorted. This starts with some type. Im not one for using existing type's, I'd much rather have a sense of my own character in there, hopefully making a unique text that stands out. I had a play, messed with a few methods and type styles.

It was this one that I decided upon, feeling it kind of stands out amongst the crowd. I cant really explain why, but theres something "natural" feeling about this one. I'd hazard a guess that it is due to its mix of its rounded nature and fluctuating quality of line. Regardless, the story is in a nature setting, and therefore the natural looking type stands out to me, so there we have it. It is in keeping with the overall tone and themes of the comic book.
