So the symbolism has had a work over, its time for the dictator to do so, in order to make it seem like a power crazy leader in the imagery and not just an ordinary guy giving you the stink eye like my first cope concept poster.
I started with a spread of imagery, a mood board lets say, from film and musical figures. These figures are either real authoritative bastards or sharply dressed in a manner that appeals to me, and will most probably influence the design i use.
I also had to consider the Nazi uniform, sharp and authoritative, the men that wore these outfits would send shivers down your spine. To lighten things up i also included the future uniforms from "Bill and Ted's excellent adventure" to show things can be daft and still have a form of visual cohesion and signify a group.
I start things off with what is basically me with a few additions to smarten up, such as a red tie and a nazi style armband featuring my logo. From there i just change the elements of the clothing, i.e. length of coat etc.. I did decide to also add pure red sunglasses, owning a similar pair in real life, i felt it fit the design and decided to keep them.
More of the same, mixing things up with the design.
Feeling satisfied with the range of designs , i decided that the third design looked most like a totalitarian leaders outfit, very formal but not entirely.
