My own dictatorship

 So yes, as the title of the post states, i'm going to create material for my personal dictatorship, this is going to be fun! I start with some logo experimentation, this symbol is something i've been using to sign my art work for a while, its even been featured atop my blog for the majority of the year. This was created by, as i've shown below this body of text, combining my initials in to a structure and then halving said structure. Also as can be seen on the second page, i start to consider a propaganda photo featuring myself, because we cant have a dictatorship that doesn't feature a flattering image of its leader in the posters. My thought process behind this was to make something that opposes the message and purpose of the hope campaign poster. Take on some Orwellian (George Orwell author of animal farm and 1984' both cautionary stories about totalitarian dictatorships) themes and go for pure authoritarian, don't dare to disobey me vibes. I also realised i could use the word cope rather than hope, man what a sinister word when used as a command, telling the public to cope, its perfect! The resulting image is nowhere near what i see being used for my fictitious dictatorship,but its certainly a step in the right direction. The mix of dull and bold colour certainly paints a bleak picture, the condescending stare feels judgmental and i've already covered the word. 

 So here we have the process behind the creation of the logo i already mentioned, and the logo i picked from all of my variations, the cleanest, lacking scratchy line work, the simplest lacking serifs and drop shadow, its just a bold shape and now it is my emblem.
