I got a lot of positive feedback on the project, the ideas and concepts were understood and appreciated, which is the most important positive take back. The AR image also seems to have engaged my peers, sparked an interest, which is in keeping with its purpose as a promotional piece. The aesthetic of all the works seem to have also been looked upon favourably. Despite my peers not necessarily being the target demographic, its a hopeful sign that a younger audience would also appreciate it.
I did manage to slip some tests in to the crit, and question what version of a selection of covers fit the project aesthetically. The overall impression was that the one that reads the easiest should be the choice. I was under the same impression, but didn't want to waste the last opportunity for some handy feedback.
As for continuation, this feedback is encouraging, and only makes me want to eventually complete the comic even more. This encouragement has made me hopeful that this could come to be a graphic novel, something that could come to fruition, I just need to be resilient and continue to chip away at it, amongst my other exploits, once cop has been and gone.
