Interim evaluation 1

Currently getting the ball rolling, my project seems to be in the air at the moment, but is getting some signs of a direction working with the storyboards and refining the subject of my essay through the crit. The research is in a similarly odd situation, with everything switching, and priorities changing, I’m unsure of whether the research conducted up to this point will be useable. Regardless, research is happening, a drastic improvement to my performance from previous years, all I need do is keep that up, and im sure to get a better grade.

Regardless of how open everything is, what I have is showing signs of promise, the characters that I’ve wanted to work with are taking form, resembling the personalities I have in mind for them, and alongside that so is the world that I am building. The research, although it may possibly be useless within the context of this project, will be applicable within my general practice, as it still concerns my fields of interest as a creative.

I need to find more of a focus, but I do feel that I am getting there. Finding that direction will strengthen all aspects of the project, allowing me to engage with both the brief and research. This is my most important task. Alongside this I should be resilient with my workflow, more work needs to be done, which will no doubt inevitably give this project its much-needed direction.
