I feel like I needed this session
following my concerns about my direction. From this session I feel like I at
the very least have a better sense of direction, if not alongside the concern that
my project may be too wide in scope still.
The focus from here on is the
narrative, exploring the different practices and techniques used to tell
stories. This will allow me to continue research in to areas that interest me,
such as animation and comics etc.. But will also allow the inclusion of AR and
VR as a side, keeping with the technological side of the question.
What’s next
From here I need to have a think about
how and why I’m going to research different practices, and merge the content in
to one essay without it being a mess. Also the conclusion was drawn that a good
start for the practical work would be some storyboarding. This is something
that gets everything in motion when thinking about narrative, and also can be
built upon with the different practices I wish to explore. I can make
animations etc..
