VR experience and doubts

I’m going to completely veer off course here and say that I’m having some doubts with my project. Simply put, my passion for VR is fading. As time goes on, having been months since my brief time experiencing it, I find my interests wandering, wanting rather to focus the project on something else. This kind of leaves the previous research defunct, but hopefully can be of use for whatever direction I inevitably take cop in.
