Im starting things with quite a specific experiment. I know that I wish to work with colour theory, and how it can be used within comics. For this I found an example that really interested me, the yellow bastard comic covered earlier on the blog. I was intrigued to see how switching the colour and medium would change the reading of the character.
This pretty much means Ive started by looking at colour, line and shape, as editing the character plays with these principles.
Thanks to the characters naturally eerie design, all the examples still seem a bit off, but It's pretty blatant that the differing use of colour always softens the blow, the other colour uses are far less creepier.
