Colour and emotion: Further combinations

Having that little play around, and coming to the conclusion that personal association is what causes relation of colour,  I decided to make some examples of the most basic feelings, Happiness, sadness and worry. I opted not to do anger as I felt that was covered in the previous experiments.

Happiness was orange and yellow, tones I associate with warmth, the happiness of the summertime. I previously covered how blue is a melancholic colour for me. Worry I built from the fear test, starting with green, and then pairing it with purple. I decided on purple because of It's darkness, also having a sort of spooky, halloween connotation for me, possibly because of it's heavy use on witch costumes.

The reason I created these faces was to, firstly test wether my colour ideas would work the way I theorised (I personally feel they have, but again feel tat others would decide upon different colour combinations0, but also so that they could be used as a template for the comic I will make for the project.
